🌐 The Role
As the ‘go-to’ Cyber Security person, you’ll safeguard not only our internal network but also enhance the security posture of our client’s platforms. You’ll weave through the intricate networks, identify potential vulnerabilities, implement strategic countermeasures, and conduct hands-on, in-depth security monitoring and incident response.
Responsibilities
- 🛡 Implement, maintain, and oversee cybersecurity best practices throughout the network
- 📡 Monitor and react promptly to any security incidents, providing thorough post-event analyses
- 🔍 Identify and rectify potential vulnerabilities in our technical environment
- 🏫 Educate and enhance security awareness among our clients and internal team
- 📜 Develop and instate internal policies related to cybersecurity best practices
- 🤖 Automate security processes via Python scripting and other automation tools
🎯 About You
- Technically Proficient: A stronghold on Linux systems, network security, and a seasoned hand with monitoring tools
- Python Whiz: Handy with Python and possibly other scripting languages to automate security tasks
- Policymaker: Experience in formulating and implementing internal cybersecurity policies
- Educator: Ability to explain complex security topics in an easy-to-understand manner
- Degree Holder: A degree in a relevant field would be splendid
