Digital Content Designer – Purpose-Led Experiences Startup Expanding Globally
Are you passionate about creativity, art, craft, and cooking experiences? We’re working with a purpose-led startup that’s expanding globally, and they’re on the lookout for an experienced Digital Content Designer to elevate their digital creative and make a big impact on a global scale.
About the Role:
You’ll report directly to the Head of Digital Marketing, taking the lead on creative development across all marketing channels. This includes producing high-quality digital assets that align with UX/UI best practices. Your main goal will be to create engaging content that increases conversion, engagement, and reach across websites, social media, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Creation: You’ll manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery, ensuring they align with best practices across multiple media channels. You’ll incorporate UX/UI insights to optimize user engagement.
- Social & Website Design: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and design content for social channels. You’ll also be responsible for creating website assets that maintain consistency and optimize the user experience.
- Data-Driven Insights: Stay on top of social trends and use data to improve the effectiveness of your designs. You’ll test, monitor, and iterate on designs for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and EDMs to ensure they’re delivering results.
- Ownership of Creative Assets: Take full responsibility for the design and execution of style guides across all communications, from social media to brand and website assets. You’ll ensure all digital content is visually cohesive and adheres to UX/UI best practices.
- Collaboration: Work with external agencies or freelancers to produce top-quality photography and videography content. You’ll also manage the global creative database.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, including marketing and website design that follows UX/UI best practices.
- Proficient in key Adobe applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and other tools like Canva, CapCut, and Figma. Motion graphics experience is a bonus.
- A portfolio showcasing your experience in creating engaging content across platforms.
- Strong understanding of visual design, including typography, layout, and composition. Knowledge of video formats and workflows is essential.
- Basic copywriting skills to complement your designs.
- A true team player with the ability to collaborate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, travel, tourism, or two-sided marketplaces is preferred.
- Knowledge of international expansion (especially US and UK markets) would be advantageous.
