Product Owner, Website and eCommerce

We have partnered with an amazing industry leader that is on the cusp of a digital journey.  Be surrounded by high performing peers and a supportive leadership team.

This organisation truly values its employees and rewards hard work with a collaborative team culture, competitive salaries and generous product allowance!

If you are a true visionary who loves working in an agile, work hard play hard environment, this one’s for you!!! Ultimately, this role will see you leading the eCommerce website and UX – you’ll be tasked with improving the website UX: the website merchandising (homepage, banners, Co-op), Performance optimisation, SEO and navigation.

What we are looking for in a person:

  • Leave your ego at the door as you exude your extraordinary ability as a servant leader to empower and motivate team mates toward achieving and celebrating the group’s successes.
  • You’ll be a superior communicator, both expressive and receptive, who collaborates and builds internal relationships effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Someone willing to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running! You will be willing and able to bring yourself up to speed on the solutions end-to-end quickly, enabling you to understand and reinforce future vision.
  • You possess superior juggling skills and have a handle on project goals, sprint/iteration objectives, priorities and road blocks at all times.
  • The ability to manage and track your scrum team’s delivery, lead sprint reviews and provide feedback on sprint results efficiently.

The nitty gritty:

  • You’ll be a Shopify expert, with extensive knowledge of eCommerce and the technology that supports it
  • You’ll have strong experience in eCommerce website development, including web merchandising
  • You will have the ability to facilitate workshops to flesh out and break down user stories along with identify acceptance criteria
  • Well versed in agile and lean principals
  • API integration experience

You’ll love this business if you thrive in high performing, fast-paced environments. You’ll have to be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity – this business is at the start line of a big digital journey and if you’re expecting a smooth path, this probably isn’t the role for you. If you love taking the lead, have a strong agile mindset (fail fast) and are looking for the next step in your digital career, then this is spot on for you.
